Američan prodaja luksuzne športnike za pomoč žrtvam koronavirusa

Koronavirus, ki se zdaj najhitreje širi po Združenih državah Amerike, je že ohromil tamkajšnjo industrijo in tako rekoč zaustavil življenje v državi. Nekatere napovedi kažejo, da bi bila situacija zaradi počasnega ukrepanja oblasti lahko še precej hujša kot v Evropi. Še enkrat bolj pa se kaže želja posameznikov pomagati družbi prebroditi najhujše obdobje. Na srečo tudi nekoliko bolj premožnih posameznikov.

Ash Crest Collection iz ameriškega mesta Fort Wayne je družinska zbirka prestižnih športnih avtomobilov z različnih vetrov. Kot razkriva njihov profil na Instagramu, njihova zbirka gosti ekskluzivne primerke, kot so Ferrari LaFerrari, Porsche Carrera GT, McLaren Senna, Bugatti Veyron, Pagani Zonda. Vsekakor zbirka, ki jo le stežka najdemo za vsakim vogalom.

Lastniki zbirke pa so se zdaj odločili, da bodo nekaj svojih avtomobilov prodali, in to za dober namen. Sedem izbranih vozil bo namreč dobilo nov dom, pri čemer pa bo celotna kupnina, ki jo bodo iztržili zanje, namenjena lokalnim podjetjem in družinam, ki jih je prizadel virus. A avtomobili, ki bodo dani v prodajo, še zdaleč niso primerki, ki ne bi spadali v zgoraj našteto eminentno družbo.

As you all know, we are currently in the midst of a global crisis that has and continues to devastate the lives of so many people. Cars have been such a strong passion of ours and given us and our community so much joy. However, as we look around at our local community, we see so much pain and strife that have been created from the COVID-19 pandemic. We have been incredibly blessed and privileged with the resources to weather such a catastrophe, yet so many people are not. We feel that our cars could serve a much larger purpose at this moment. Because of this, we plan to sell a portion of our collection and give 100% of all received funds to local businesses and families that have been negatively impacted by the COVID-19 crisis in the greater Fort Wayne and northeast Indiana region. Though we typically just use Instagram to post about our cars, we feel this is one of the best outlets to connect with the entire automotive community and reach those that may be able to help us in this cause. For those of you that are interested in our cars: thank you. We are so excited to use these cars for an even greater purpose. However, let us clarify something: we do not need to sell these cars - we WANT to sell these cars. Avtomobili, ki so naprodaj, so tako unikaten Porsche 911 GT2 RS s paketom Weissach letnik 2018 (z manj kot 500 prevoženimi kilometri), Chevrolet Corvette letnikov 1966 in 1967, Lamborghini Gallardo letnik 2013 (z redkim ročnim menjalnikom) in pa dva Ferrarija F430 Spider. Porsche GT3 letnik 2004 je medtem svoj novi dom že našel.

Celotna vrednost vozil, ki jih bo prodal Austin Ash, lastnik zbirke, bi po naših izračunih lahko presegla vrednost 800.000 evrov. A, kot je zapisal v objavi na Instagramu, se zaveda, da je med srečneži, ki jih bolezen ni prizadela, in da hkrati lahko družbi pomaga na tak način. Tudi zato si želi, da bi omenjeni avtomobili – čeprav mu jih ne bi bilo treba prodati – čim prej našli nov dom.
